Karen spent many years in the merchant navy, before deciding to become an English teacher. She taught in Costa Rica, Ecuador and Spain before coming to join us in Swallow. Karen is our go-to teacher for exam success. During her time at Swallow she has helped dozens of students achieve Cambridge exam awards. She mainly teaches adults, though she has prepared candidates as young as 15 for Cambridge First. She also teaches company classes. Karen taught for us here in Liberec for many years, then when she decided to move to the Canary Islands to be closer to her family, she continued to teach for us online.
